Once a Curly girl is 11 years old, she will get the opportunity to continue building sisterhood and development to navigate tween-hood and the beginning of her teenage years with the help of Curly Me! programs.

Natural In Nature

A monthly program in partnership with The Westside Collaborative. This program is an opportunity for our Black tween girls to get outside. Outdoor experiences will include things such as hiking, kayaking, nature journaling, and so much more!

BRAID’d

stands for Being Real and Incredibly Determined

BRAID’d is open to Black girls 11-18 years old. We will have 3 cohorts this year (one that meets February - April, one that meets April - June, and one that meets August - October).

Each cohort will meet on a biweekly basis and will be focused on a different theme! Learn more at the link below.

Curly Me!
BOOK CLUB

This is a summer book club where Black curly tweens get a chance to read books by authors that look like them with characters that look like them led by a youth leader and Dr. that create and hold space for them.

We are taking a break during 2026. check back for our 2027 book club
