Natural in Nature is a monthly program for Black girls (11-14 years old) in partnership with The Tracy Aviary’s Westside Collaborative. This program is an opportunity for our Black tween girls to get outside.

In September, we are going camping!! Which will be open to all of our Natural in Nature girls and their parents.

In preparation for our trip, we will spend our August meeting going over the basics of camping with the girls (learning how to pitch a tent, start a fire, safety, etc.). Then in September, we will put our new skills to the test and spend time connecting to nature.

Our August meeting will be on Monday, August 25th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Nature Center at Pia Okwai (3310 S 1000 W, South Salt Lake, UT 84119). We will be providing dinner so please include your daughter's dietary restrictions below.
